Georgia Dept. of Revenue raids Albany car dealership – WFXL FOX 31
ALBANY, GA. — The Georgia Department of Revenue raided one of Albany’s oldest car dealerships on Thursday.
The government alleges that William Chambers, Jr., the owner of Bill Chambers Motors on West Oglethorpe, owes more than 0,000 in taxes.
Chambers is already facing a lawsuit from Heritage Bank of the South for failure to make payments on 1 ,000 note.
Butler Capital is also suing Chambers Motors for not making payments on a ,000 lease agreement.
