This is the movie, how a Japanese backpacker buy Angkor Wat. I tried to follow him to record with my video camera a couple of days. You might see how tourism culture has made of. This movie is gonna be good window, how we’ve seen by local people, where we stand point now, and what we want to see at tourist spot. I hope you’ll get something changing your torist valuable.

This is nice video. Yeah you should be careful. No perfect place is 100% safe to tour. Some peole might try to cheat ur money. Just be careful.
Oops “How to Buy Angkor Wat” is not sound good for us Cambodian. U should add a preposition “at” between buy and Angkor. “How to Buy at Angkor Wat” sounds better n it gives us a clear image of what u’r trying to tell the tourist.

this video is kind of documentary about a young japanese backpacker has something change his mind through this travel.
if tourism had good thing,it’s just change your valuable,after travel you can move something for making sustainable society.
so,this title contains a touch of irony.
just give watcher awareness which you unconsciously buy Angkor wat.
they’re no choice to adjust to Westenize people,
there are too big power gap here.
if something happen there,tourist stop to travel Siem up,they are can’t get money for life.
Cambosia budget is alomost from tourist income.
this means depend on Angkor wat itself or Westernize people.
this situation is too risky for Cambosia’s future.
there are two people who can travel(Westernize people),who can be traveled(Local people).
Local people no choice to change their culture for money.
but Westernize people are trying to look for “local culture”
especialy lots of Local people look on Westernize as “Money”.
actualy,Siem up town has been big change,it gonna be Western town.
(did you know that some local people really furious with that breaking our town)

when i traveled in Angkor Wat,i’ve consider about what GOOD TOURISM it is.
i think there is no GOOD TOURISM in the world at the moment.
Yah, what does this title mean? Sounds like Japanese tourist traveling around Cambodia ordering lunch. I’m cambodian, would be interesting that if this was true about a japanese village in my Country of birth!
qu6ikal, I heard that the Japanese team found old Japanese village in Cambodia about 100 families. But, the paper didn’t give much details about the Japanese village. I assumed it disappeared over the years.
I heard they found an old Japanese town somewhere near Phnom Penh.
