In the case of the Patterson-Gimlin Film, the Memorial Day Footage, and the Paul Freeman video, the subject was aware of its human observer(s). Here we have nearly three-and-a-half minutes of this primate doing what it does by itself, outside of the context of a human-Sasquatch encounter, and such a window into its world is immeasurably valuable.
